The Nederlands Blazers Ensemble and the Duda Paiva Company are joining forces once again in Breath of the Forest, an urgent theatrical concert performance created in collaboration with the Kamayur\u00e1 community deep in the Amazon region. Together with Andreia Duarte, an artist and researcher who lived among the Kamayur\u00e1 for many years, they traveled to the Amazon and immersed themselves in the life of this indigenous community. <\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Inspired by their worldview and the music of Heitor Villa-Lobos, the performance weaves together live music, movement, and puppetry into a ritual of listening. The project recognizes indigenous peoples as guardians of the Amazon and bearers of indispensable knowledge. A meditative and physical experience, rooted in an ethical exchange based on mutual consent, told through foam, breath, and sound. <\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t
