Amersfoort
Coming closer
Our performances, which center on dance and sculpture, are associative and narrative. In a theater, we set those stories within a world of light, set design, video, and soundscape. Magic at its finest. But even without that world, the magic remains. It starts with a dancer and a piece of foam rubber. What emerges from that is the essence of everything we create.
As a dancer, Duda wanted to break through the fourth wall, and he used a sculpture to do so. Now he is expanding his stage to get even closer to his audience. In the coming years, we will therefore be placing extra emphasis on local projects in our home base of Amersfoort.
In June 2025, Amersfoort was transformed into a living street theater for the first time during the The Sound of Silence parade, in collaboration with the Musica Mundo Festival. This coming summer, you’ll meet the orangutan, who leads a procession of extinct and endangered animal species. More than 50 artists, musicians, and performers will bring the streets of Amersfoort to life. Come by and experience it for yourself!
